New Watch

I finally broke down and bought a watch. So what, you say. So, I haven't had a watch in more than 10 years I say. I got tired of ruining them at work.
Anyway, I've been dayreaming about getting a Rolex Red Submariner, but of course that's not going to happen anytime soon. Then a couple of weeks ago I stumbled across a site called Woot.com.
Basically, it's a closeout site like Overstock.com except instead of having a bunch of items everyday, they only sell one item each day. Very neat idea, and it seems to be working for them. They sold 1500 of the watch that I bought.

Anyway, it's a really nice watch, espcially for $70.00 (sug retail is $255.00 score!). It's a heavy bastard, so it definetly doesn't have the cheap feel that a lot of sub $250 watches have, it's a mechanical with the self-wining feature. In fact, it may be too heavy for me, I have to have it resized, so I haven't had a chance to really get comfortable with it yet, but I'm thinking I might get a "James Bond" NATO strap for it. They look fantastic with the submariner style watches, an this watch is almost a dead ringer for the Rolex Red Submariner that I'd really like to have.
The only thing I don't like about it is the lack of a "hack" feature, so it's impossible to set it exactly accurate, but overall I really like it.
